Forever In Dreams under cloud following Sprint Cup

Trainer Aidan Fogarty accounts his star filly Forever In Dreams to have scoped badly after her effort from the Sprint Cup at Haydock.
After winning a Recorded prize at the Merseyside venue in May, the daughter of Fantasy Ahead was snapped by the Phoenix Ladies Syndicate ahead of her conduct in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot – and did her new owners proud with a huge effort to complete next to Martyn Meade’s Advertise.
She left her first competitive appearance since but ended a disappointing 10th of 11 runners supporting Kevin Ryan’s Hello Youmzain, that was one place behind Forever In Dreams at the Royal meeting.
“She scoped poorly when she arrived home, so at least we have a reason,” said Fogarty.
“The very first thing Billy (Lee) said after the race was she sensed somewhat flat, which is unlike her, as she generally travels nicely.
“She played up a bit in the parade until the race, which she does not do, so perhaps she understood more than we ever did.
“She was fine right after the race, however once we scoped her at home on Sunday it wasn’t correct, so she’s on the easy list.
“We’ll see just how she is, but she is in the Foret at France and she can run there when we are satisfied with her”
